TICKETING POLICIES

FEE INFORMATION

A $4 Credit Card Fee is applied to cover the processing fees to the Merchant Company. It is only applied to Credit Card Sales. (You can avoid this fee by paying in cash or check at the box office.)

A $1 Playhouse Preservation Fee fee helps us to maintain the buildings and facilities of the Sharon Playhouse. This is applied to every ticket sold.

TICKET DELIVERY INFORMATION

  • Email - You will receive an email containing one or more attachments (PDF documents) that serve as printable tickets. You must print these tickets and bring them with you to the event(s). We accept printed AND digital versions of your ticket so if you forget to print, you can have your confirmation email pulled up on your phone ahead of time. We'll gladly accept a screenshot of your ticket(s) too.

  • Will Call - No tickets will be sent to you. Simply show up at the "Will Call Booth" at the Welcome Center on the day of the event(s) and provide your name. Only the person that placed the order can redeem the tickets. You must have a valid ID in order to be able to redeem the tickets.

  • If you lose your tickets or forget to bring them with you to the theater, contact the Box Office and we will replace them. These tickets will override the missing original tickets.

REFUND POLICY:
All tickets purchased for Sharon Playhouse productions are final sale with no refunds unless due to cancellation by the Playhouse. If you have questions about this policy, please contact our box office.

EXCHANGE POLICY:

Tickets may be exchanged for a different performance within the run of the production, pending availability, by contacting the Box Office. There is an exchange fee of $5.00 per order.

2025 Sharon Playhouse Angels may exchange tickets between performances or productions with no fees if processed at least 48 hours prior to the original performance. Click here to learn more about our Angel Program.

LATE ARRIVALS:
Guests arriving late will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager. To limit audience distraction, late arrivals may be required to wait in the lobby until an appropriate pause in the performance before they are permitted into the theater. Late arrivals are not guaranteed their ticketed seat assignments. Arriving at least 15 minutes early to a performance is highly recommended.

RESERVED SEATING:
All Sharon Playhouse MainStage and YouthStage Productions have reserved seating. Your seating assignment is subject to availability and determined when placing your ticket order. 

GENERAL ADMISSION:
For select Sharon Playhouse Special Events, seating may be general admission and seat selection is on a first-come first-served basis.  All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

CHILD PATRONS:
Sharon Playhouse welcomes patrons ages 5 and older. As a courtesy to our guests, children under the age of 5 will not be permitted into the theater except our YouthStage productions, where children under the age 5 and older are welcomed for all performances. Regardless of age, everyone must have a ticket, sit in a seat and be able to sit quietly through the performance.

FOOD & DRINK:
At Sharon Playhouse, we want all guests to have an enjoyable and comfortable theater experience. To ensure the best environment for all patrons and performers, please note the following:

  • Food & Beverages in the Theater:

    • Patrons are welcome to bring beverages and small snack items into the theater during the performance.

    • Please be mindful of noise and avoid foods that may be disruptive to others.

  • Outside Food & Alcohol:

    • We kindly ask that guests do not bring food into the theater.

    • We encourage patrons to enjoy food from our food trucks or to bring their own picnic to enjoy on our beautiful grounds near the patio before the show or at intermission.

    • Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted. If you wish to bring your own bottle of wine, a corkage fee of $20 will apply.

  • Concessions & Refreshments:

    • Drinks and snacks are available for purchase at the Playhouse at our Patio bar and Concession Stand in the Lobby.

    • Food trucks are available on-site before performances for your convenience and enjoyment.

UNCLAIMED COMP TICKETS/SEATS:
Any unclaimed complimentary tickets are subject to release in the event of a sold-out performance. Purchased Ticket holders are guaranteed admission until five minutes prior to curtain time, at which time any unclaimed seats may be released and resold in the event of a sold-out performance.

WAITLIST POLICY:
If a performance is sold out, guests may request to be placed on the waitlist by contacting the box office and providing the following information:

First & Last Name
Email
Phone Number(s)
Performance Requested (Date and Time)
Number of Tickets Requested

If tickets become available, patrons on the waitlist will be notified via phone on a first-come, first-served basis.

STAND-BY POLICY:
If a performance is sold out, guests may request to be placed on the standby list at the door up to 30 minutes prior to curtain. If seats are available, standby guests will be notified approximately 5 minutes prior to curtain and will be allowed to request tickets on a first-come, first-served basis, provided that all guests in their party are present.

SPECIAL TICKET OFFERS: It is the responsibility of the patron to mention promotions when placing an order. Once a sale has been processed, no refunds or promotional discounts will be issued. Special discounts may not be combined with any other offers. All offers are subject to availability. 

 
 

ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES:
Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) amplify and clarify sound by cutting down or eliminating ambient noise. For patrons who are hard of hearing, the sound quality and performance is improved when utilizing an ALD. ALDs can be reserved free-of-charge at the box office.

ACCESSIBILITY:
The Playhouse is fully wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair-accessible seats can be purchased online directly from the seat map. If you or a member of your party requires special seating accommodations, please contact the Box Office in advance—48 hours' notice is greatly appreciated.
